Discovering HK

IThompson

I went for a walk to the Kennedy Town area to soak up a bit of history and was delighted to find the Arch of the Tung Wah smallpox hospital of 1910. It is in the small garden area right by the Bus terminus.  I was looking also for the Boundry stone of Victoria city which shows on the Google map along Sai Ning St. but is nowhere to be found. The locals didn't seem to know where it has gone either. Can anyone enlighten us on the whereabouts of this stone nowadays ?

The stone is not there anymore, there is only a tourist street sign where it used to be.

Thank you for info re Boundary stone. Looks like Google Map is out of date in this respect and needs an amendment. I don't think one can even walk to where the spot is indicated on the Map as it is now a restricted area transformed into a transfer station.  Wonder what they did with the original Stone?
