Where do we get Indian groceries

harsh6sigma

Hi All,

Just wanted to check on few things:

1. I would live in Mont Kiara. Are there any stores which offer Indian groceries?

2. Do we get atta, pulses, masala, etc easily in KL? Please mention price points if available.

3. Can I bring some food items from India? Any customs problem?

You do not need to bring anything from India ! At least, to my knowledge.

You can get them all here from Spices to clothes etc. Many of these products are imported from India.

That's the water from vending machines, however the tap water is 'safe' to drink but tastes terrible because of the high amounts of chlorine. We have two water filters, one outside for the sand/dirt that seems to find it's way into the water and another one that does the heavy duty filtering for drinking water. Many people are moving to the RO filtering systems that have the hot/cold dispensers on them.
