Hire Purchase Car loan

Hi,
Has anyone on MM2H availed the car loan from any financial institution? Is it possible qualify for hire purchase lone for MM2H holder in Malaysia?

I did it some years ago. I bought a new Nissan X-Trail and gave a copy of my MM2H confirmation to the Nissan dealer and got the tax free price. Instead of paying what would have been around MYR145,000, after tax deduction and some negotiation I ended up paying MYR91,000 for the car. The Nissan dealer arranged the loan with RHB Bank over 7 years.

That was a while ago, but I think I bought the car from Nissan Pandan Indah. However, I believe that all authorized dealers will arrange a loan for customers. Also, I did not have to show any income support documents so everything was easy.
