Job & Duty for a Sales & Marketing Position

Hi everyone ! I am about to considering a job offering as the position of Sales & marketing Manager at one of the resort in Maldives. And market segmentation is mainly for China market.
Just wanna gather more information from you all, if you know:
1. How a sales person doing his job n duty in Maldives? It is he need to always travel abroad for sales activities?
2. It is very hard to handle chinese's guest from China?

Hi Joelima40342,

If you are considering to work overseas and you have already an experience in sales in marketing in a hospitality industry, the only thing different will be the workplace and the people around you. Hence, the answer to your questions depends on how you perform your duties and responsibilities as stated in your JD from your employer and how you perceive "customer service" is all about.

Nevertheless, working in the Maldives is very challenging but full of fun and enjoyment!
