Hi..I am new to this..a retiree..and planning to move to the Danang area..was hoping someone would have suggestions on some nice rental places..not far from the water...if not in a area not too busy

The An Thuong area of Danang is very popular with expats and digital nomads. There are lots of restaurants and cafes.

My suggestion: before you arrive, watch Social Samy on YouTube. He has reviewed a lot of hotels and apartments in the area and this will give you an idea of what's available.

Book a hotel for 3 days, then wander the area looking for suitable longer term accommodation. Don't be afraid to ask to view the rooms and always ask the monthly rate for rent, water and electricity.

Just be aware that Vietnam is changing fast so what maybe a quiet area today can be the latest construction zone tomorrow.
