Hello, me and my wife are coming to West End to visit and scope it out as a possible retirement location. We'd like to meet up with some expats to get some good information. We will arrive 4May. Any help would be appreciated, even if it's simply a local tavern or restaurant that is frequented by expats. Thanks, Don
West End is nice to visit but a little too crowded and busy a place to live in as far as I'm concerned. Many of us prefer a quieter and more secluded location - unless you are really, really into hitting the bar at Sundowner's every night and tossing down a few with those who frequent the place. Bill Gates is said to like drinking there.
