Does Verizon work well on the island (san juan)? My contract is up in April and I am debating whether I should change providers. I know Verizon works in PR but it seems like other carriers are more popular (i.e. AT&T). I also had some issues with picture texting but I wasn't sure if it was my phone or the service.
Actually, Verizon was bought out by Claro on the island if my memory serves me right. I have a prepaid Claro phone & the signals are pretty good. I would not suggest Sprint though.
VERIZON does not work at all on the island. I had it for 18 years and NOTHING worked: TEXT, internet, even phone calls were a problem. drop them asap!! T mobile, Sprint or AT&T are your best bets. Try to get service and phone at Costco or Sams if possible; they have great phone deals, training and bonus offers.
