Work Permit Cancelled by Employer

Dears,

i have resigned my job and my employer will cancel my work permit by June 30, but my residence card is valid until Feb , 2022. is it ok to stay for another 1 month after Jun 30 ? or i will be expelled

Ideally, you will have 3 months of time to stay here after your WP is cancelled. Within 3 months, either if you start working or initiate a new SP application, you can stay beyond 3 months

Thanks a lot Thrilokh, how IBZ will inform us through regular mail or through commune ?

Ibiz will intimate you either by post/email and also they notify commune in parallel.
Since you are leaving within a month, no action is required by you to get your RP date modified.

@Thrilokhs Thank you, will employer ask us to deregister RP in commune since they can cancel the WP? My new employer has submitted renewal of single permit based on current RP.

No need of cancellation from your end.

If a new WP is filed from a new employer within 3 months from your last working day with the previous employer,聽 everything is fine and no action needed from your end
