Immigration Lawyer?

jeanmandredeix

Our house purchase completes soon so our next step is residency.

Would appreciate advice on what to do. I have printed the forms out and I know we need to make an appointment at the Embassy in London, are they fairly quick as we have to get the police check from ACRO and they’re i believe only valid 3 months.

Trying to avoid too much tooing and froing 😀

Not sure about how we get the apostilised done, is that through email or personal visit to immigration lawyer?

Hello jeanmandredeix,

May I ask which country you are currently in?

This will help me redirect your thread to the right destination so members, including those with experience or connections to immigration lawyers, can better assist you.

Hint: there's a mention of the BG embassy in London, and ACRO, which is the British Criminal Records Office.  If I had to guess, I'd reckon the poster is from the UK.... 😎

Apostilles can be organised online in the UK.  You can usually get whoever issues the document(s) in question to send them direct to the Legalisation Office ( www(dot)gov(do)uk/get-document-legalised ) who'll then send them direct to you.  Let me know if you want a step-by-step list of how to do this; you certainly don't need an immigration lawyer for it 😎
