Hi all, does anyone know if a mono roof garage that is built out of wood and old tiles will need planning consent as is of temporary type construction. I read somewhere that a temporary build doesn鈥檛 require anything but just wanted to make sure. Thanks Ozzy

Many/most "temporary buildings" do require a permit - but then so does "glassing in" balconies, which most people merrily proceed with anyway.

Because sometimes links with the dots in are "suspended" while they're checked out - it's become a habit to just use (dot)

Thanks Jim, I have looked at the link which seems to mention a category for temp constructed buildings but then can鈥檛 find anything re this category lol鈥� clear as mud.

Will speak to our local Mayor and ask, I remember reading something where the regulations had been relaxed for garages no matter if temporary or permanent construction but can鈥檛 find this now always the way.
