Hi all ,

聽聽聽聽聽 Do landlords have to take individual property insurance for their apartment or the property management association purchases property insurance on behalf of the entire apartment complex as well as individual apartments ?

聽聽聽聽聽聽I think Peyia is in medium seismic zone . There is always fire hazard due to tenants or owners or neighbors negligence . I聽 think flooding due to rains is a big issue as Peyia apartments are on top of the hills with rainwater going downstream.

Most landlords should cover their property聽 and their contents within it ..tenants should cover their own stuff

Some complexes have arranged a complex insurance but not all owners want it..and don't wish to pay for it ...most owners are responsible for their property and should cover their building and their own contents . Most complexes insurance covers communal areas and external structural聽 areas...聽聽
