Hi,

Anyone taken out a commercial lease in germany & do you have any red flags to look for in the lease doc ? Did you get a german commercial lawyer to review & how much did it cost?聽 I have been quoted 鈧�900 for lease review & making amendments - understand that good advice is invaluable (& costs) anyone been through this process before?

I did not do that myself, but I understand that in commerial leases there exists no tenant protection (similar to what we have fo residential rentals in Germany). Thus you really need to know what you are doing BEFORE signing a lease - if you are not firm in this (AND fluent in legalese German), the expense of engaging a lawyer can be a good investment!
