Living in a Mobile home in Norway

Guest987
I am new to the forum, after looking at Norway I really want to move there, however I want to know some information. I plan on taking a double decker bus or something similar and converting it into a mobile home, and then place it on a piece of land in Norway, would this need planning permission, also I'm worried because I have heard that you can't get an address unless it is a proper house which I need because I want to be able to order thing's online and for some services is mandatory, is living in a home like this possible legally in Norway, I have researched all around but haven't found anything I could understand.

PS: it will be completely off grid and drivable.

I did a quick search for "fast bosted bobil" (fixed residence mobile vehicle) and it explains a bit of what was at least the rules in 2018. Basically, in order to have the typical privileges of living in Norway (including the ability to have a phone subscription), you need to have a rental agreement for some property that has a listed "location".. I'm not sure how to explain this but each property I've lived in has had "gårdsnr" that identifies that exact location/property, and is used for official communication. This blog says they basically then just have a post box for mail.

you can also be listed as "UFB" or uten fast bopel, which means you don't have a fixed address. In this case you will not have access to a number of local services since many of the services here are linked to your county/town.

I've got no personal experience with this but this website looks like a likely resource
