Hi @littlepimprenelle, Welcome.

You have some support here (please use your browser translator):

The online procedure is exclusively for Portuguese people. In your case, you'll have to :

- Open an activity at the tax office, in the link above, you have the CAE economic activity codes, and you can choose one or more;

- Go to the town hall where you want to carry out the activity. They will help you what you need to do.

If you need help, you can go to a solicitor near where you want to do business. They can help you with these steps. At the tax office and town hall, they speak some English, so you may not need that help.

To be a market or street seller in Portugal, first you need to have your own tax number (NIF number) and register as self-employed with the Finanças (portuguese Tax Office).

With the NIF number and self-employed registration you contact the admin / management of each market where you intend to sell and apply for a slot / position to sell. There may be a long waiting list.

Usually markets are managed by the local Camara, they'll direct you to the right department.

Street sellers are only allowed on some streets & public spaces. You must apply to the local Camara Municipal with same docs as before, and wait to be given a place & time when you can sell.

In both cases you'll be charged a fee for the licence and slot, for each market.

You can't just sell anywhere you fancy and without a NIF number and registrations. You'll be fined.

There are many seasonal crafts markets all over the country, taking place annually or monthly. To get a license to sell your crafts you need to contact the admin / management of each market well in advance.

Search online for "feiras em Portugal" and "feiras de artesanato em Portugal", or by town & district "feiras em Sintra" etc.
