Me and my boyfriend are considering moving to Ukraine. We live in Sweden now, I'm born here and he's here until August 2011 on a Au-pair visa. He's a citizen in Russia.

What I would like to get more information about is how the rules if for Russians that want to move to Ukraine. I'll study there so I'll get a visa but what about my boyfriend. I assume he can't just go with me without having a work when we arrive? He needs to find a work before going there and then let his employer help him with a visa? Or how does it work? What if he won't get a job before my studying starts? I've money to support both him and me for around 4-5 months.
