Relocating to Wales from Birmingham

Tim Broderick

Hi, We are looking to relocate to Wales and have looked at many properties on the internet but cannot decide which part of Wales would be best for us.  We have looked at properties on the internet in Colwyn Bay and surrounding areas and also Pembroke and surrounding areas and cannot decide which would be best for us. We are both in our 60's (but don't look it) we need a place that is not in the middle of no where, ideally within walking distance of bars, restaurants and shops, obviously will need a post office and banks.  How far is Colwyn Bay to Pembroke ?   We hope to plan a trip within the next couple of weeks to view some properties so any help anyone can give and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Have you thought of Anglesey?  There's lots of information available, and here's a to one such site.

I hope this helps.
