Safety / Security conditions on Halfaya Oilfield, Iraq

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what it's like working on Halfaya Oilfield near Amara, Iraq.聽 Having done some research online, it appears Maysan Province seems relatively quiet.聽 Have there been any incidents at the base at all?聽 Any information on security / safety issues would be most welcome.聽聽I see there is an airbase there, so are expat employees flown there from Baghdad to start their tour or are they driven up from Basra?聽 I'm considering a position there, so any insight would be great.聽 Thanks.

Hello dear my name is saeed khan i been there for two years in halfya field with BHDC as a HSE supervisor now i am in Kurdistan and still my some friends there i talked often with them there is no security issue good field good people there but up coming weather is too hot in July august temp will near to 60 my e mail is聽 fitinter@yahoo.com if you need some more information i am here to help u
