CONTRACT STILL in PROBATIONARY

Muhammad Imran Mirza

Guys, One of my friend has an offer from a stable company but with current company his contract in the QIWA is still in the probationary but matter of fact probationary period is gone. Actually they took longer to transfer his iqama and then they put the start date in the qiwa contract as the first day of his iqama under their name. He has a few days into the probationary period, per qiwa, and if he gets confirmation from the next company he will have 2-3 working days.

Can he resign and terminate contract? What could be implications? Since he had his own iqama, I hope they wouldn't threaten to send him on final exit, what is your suggestion on it?

What do you advise on it if he gets confirmation today from the next company, how should he initiate this resignation process?

Regards
