Is it ok to work in a company without a contract yet?

Just want to know if it is ok to work to a certain company here in Dubai yet the company didn't gave you a contract but he only gave you an employment Visa.. are you still be banned for 6 months if you will leave the company?

hey as far as what i understand from your post you are saying they have nor issued any contract... so no papers signed... and nothing has been said about the notice period... so any of the parties can leave without any prior notice
