Looking to meeting new people with similar qualities in Toronto

hello all. my name is owen and i have lived in toronto for many years. however, i don't really have any friend here cuz i lack initiatives in maintaining friendships such as hanging out or participating in activities together. now i am genuinely looking to meeting new people, especially those that might lead to long term friendships. i personally think that i am a nice person and i have the following qualities that i can think of so far:

always helpful when friends are in need (just ask)

like to hangout and do things together that interest all of us (lack of initiatives to invite others but i will try harder this time)

give emotional support by being a good listener
