Hi "Vegas", I too am married to a Brasilian from Goiania (16 years). I am a New Yorker now living in Tennessee. This is a good way to wean myself of big city life.

We vacation every year in Go., and over the years I've learned a lot about the culture and language from an American perspective.

Hi exnyer, I travel to goiania every 3 months or so to visit my fiance. I also intend to move the, so, I would like to meet some friends. If there are any expats living in goaiania, hit me up.

I have met several Americans in Go. They usually own a business. The interesting thing is that there are a lot of Goianos who have lived in the States and returned home speaking perfectly good english and well versed in our culture.

I'll be retiring there in about 18 months.

Hey new york, 18 months is just around the corner. I am looking for a business in Go to purchase and have the fiance run it until I can move there. We are also looking for a nice house. I have found neither of these are an easy task, lol
