M.Ibraham

Hi, as I'm new in Brazil & a non-Portuguese speaker, I need an English speaker to accompany me on some visits, for example to VIVO office & bank ...

I'm in São Paulo - Liberdade. If someone is interested, please contact me.

Thanks,

Mohamed Ibraham

Hire a professional translator. Documents in Rio normally cost me $150 for two pages, so, maybe an hour of their time at the most. Call someone up and talk to them. I am sure you can find someone who will suffice at a reasonable cost.

@M.Ibraham Find a Friend. My wife and daughter are Brazilian and fluent in English and Portuguese, so I always have someone. This can be very challenging, so I advise you to find a bilingual friend, because you will pay a lot otherwise. I have found that lots of time it is not just the language, but the understanding of what you are saying, be it cultural or they just don't understand. If you have to pay someone, you can easily go broke.
