Internet and phone contract - Go or Melita? by Rico29
Hi there I just asked in a Go store about their internet conditions & they would need 3 months in advance plus a credit card guarantee for the contract - is this something common for Malta or just Go does it? Let me know if Go is better or worse ...
I started with Melita and then ported in to Vodafone after about a month. I got 200 minutes, 200 texts and 200mb for free valid for a month. I yet have to find an 'unlimited' internet offer like abroad. Here you need to buy a bundle if ... Read More

Hi Tallinn123. I can confirm that they sell smooth Danone and other brand yoghurts, no problem. As for quiche, I haven't looked but surely they can be found or easily made. If you're Tallinn based one word of advice. Malta will be cold in ... Read More

I've left Melita, they're horrible. If you want to find out yourself the hard way sign up with them and try to get them to do something when there is a problem. I always test-call company's help-lines to see how quick they answer and ... Read More
Non-EU Parents to Visit by chrisc58
Hi, Please can someone advise or provide information relating to being resident in Malta and having non-EU parents come to visit for a week or so. Many thanks,
I have the same issue, but from Russia. I'm an EU national and the visa center website in Moscow stated that they will need to apply as normal tourists. The only difference being that I will need to provide a letter inviting them to visit me and ... Read More
recommended heaters in winter? by stef88
Hi 😊 can anyone recommend the best type of heater for winter that is least likely to cause any damp /mould and best for if you are asthmatic. Thanks!
I just went to get my jab yesterday. Bought the vaccine from the local pharmacy for 7.5 Euro (Influvac) and the local GP did the injection. Even though I'm not an astma patient and in good health I've been getting flu jabs ever since ... Read More

I read a lot about these infra-red panel heaters. They are supposed heat like the sun's infra-red rays, to be more effective than AC which only heats the air, not the objects in the room, cheaper to run as efficiency should be close to 100% and ... Read More

Just my personal experience on Melita. It's horrible. The customer service is non existing, I've been on hold for 30-45 minutes and still nobody picks up. What's wrong with this company. My contract should have 30mb download speed. Yet ... Read More

Had the same problem. You first of all can't find anything 'normal' for a 'normal' price. If you would though it would take 6-8 weeks to deliver. In the end I went to Maltapark and bought some very high quality secondhand stuff ... Read More
