@Tookaysthe permit the EDB issues is for 10 years.You pay USD 1000 fee for 10 years permit.After 3 years you can apply for permanent resdency I think. Not 100% sure thogh. Read More

Hi,The permit is for 10 years, not 3.You do not need to transfer 18k per year to Mauritius. Transfer only what you need. But you need 18k as an income, which stays in overseas account. Read More
