I am trying to establish a bank account in PR that would allow us to have visa and most importantly ATH access. Has anyone been able to set up an account while being physically in the states? We will not be on the island for apx 2 more months.

A thought, you can write a check on your Banco Popular account and use the Chase app to deposit it. I have Bank of America and my BP checks clears within 48 hours on my deposit via the app, there are no transfer fees. Read More
