Life in Mosta? by pevi

Our relocation date is approaching fast and we are looking into renting a property in Mosta. However I am slightly worried about our everyday life there. Initially I will stay home with our two children and we do not plan to have a car. ...

klstorme

@redmik Maybe it's when and where I travel, but short of going to The far ends of the island or into central birkikara, I never spend more than 30 minutes per journey and that includes rush hour traffic. Read More

It's only an issue if you use public transport, otherwise you can pretty much get anywhere on the island in 20 minutes. If you are still looking to live in Mosta, I have a house to rent out here. Read More

Hi Monica, I'm not sure if I've understood your posts correctly, so if not, please excuse me. It seems one thing that's important to you is shopping. It would be helpful to know if you mean big shopping outlets like you get in most countries, ... Read More

Giving birth at mater dei by giusidda

hello!! Any feedback on Mater dei maternity unit anyone?

Damsel, now that I think about, I probably had more visits but opted out. Having 3 kids, my mother and my husband, was way too many people as it was :). Then again, it was 3 years ago, so things may have changed or I just really have lost all my ... Read More

Pevi, yes I do have a car. However, my nanny often takes my 3 children on busses and they go all over. I think it's a bit of a mission with a double buggy as you have to put them down, but it's not unmanageable. The public transport is very good, ... Read More

Women's position in Malta by Victoria22

Hi, just curious what women's position is in Malta. I mean are they stay-at-home mums looking after family and household? Or are their chances at least similar to those of men? I am asking because my husband is going to stay at home with our ...

klstorme

I have to disagree with all of you :). My husband was a stay at home when we first came here. Although that was 6 years ago, so maybe things have changed. But boy was it difficult then. Women mostly stay at home, so if you are out and about at ... Read More
