Running Partner / Running Groups by EdwardBH

Anyone in need of a running partner? Are there any running clubs in Bahrain?

scottrace

"Hashing" aside ;) Bahrain Road Runners is great - they have fantastic events and they do a 3km or 5km run every weekend. They have Junior runners as well so you don't need to be super fit to attend. Great group of people who are ... Read More

Well done Josnuggles for copying the comments to both schools. However, our experience was also awful with the Admissions staff at St Chris on more than one occasion and we were of the same mindset - if this is what the school considers to be their ... Read More

Try again with Central Market when the weather cools down. It's a great way to meet the locals and they are up for a bit of haggling too. Get one of the guys with the trolleys for about 1bd and he will load everything in your car at the end. ... Read More

scottrace

My point was that if she is not a commercial/banking lawyer it might be difficult. My speciality is not in those areas and in order to do anything other than those, Arabic is pretty much a must. Read More

In my experience, unfortunately, it will be quite difficult to find a job in the law firms here. They tend to be very commercial/finance based and if she can't speak/write Arabic it's very hard. My advice is for her to learn Arabic in her ... Read More
