E-ticket website glitch

Post new topic

We're flying next Wednesday however I had thought that you could now apply outside the 3 day window, however I'll wait until Sunday and see if that solves the problem.  Thanks so much for your suggestion!

@mocaman67  this was almost 2 years ago. I never had a problem with this form. I have done it over 10 times electronically.  I've always been able to complete it and change it at anytime if your imported goods change. This time it wouldn't let me pick the date into the next year which was 2 months from when I was filling out the form. Just an annoying glitch.

Evisa for Domincan... Has anyone had an issue once you enter application code?  Keeps telling me incorrect passport# or application code.  I've tried reapplying, retyping etc.  Nothing is working.  Do I dare wait for the 72 hour window prior to flight to Dominican

    Try to save the code of your ticket application, I think it is 5 or 6 characters. Next trip click the option ""Crear desde un eTicket anterior" , fill in the code and your passportnumber and most of your info will be already filled in. It saves a lot of time.

The combination saved is code+ passportnumber. If you fill in a different or new passport it will not work. A new application will generate a new code+ PP combination. Make sure they match. The 72 hour limited timeframe is no longer used.

The code is on the QR form

use it to go back and change/correct

My problem is that the "DAY" field, which is a drop down box for both the date of birth and the date of flight does not load.  When I click on it, it doesn't give any options.  Tried this in Safari and in Chrome.

It won't let me proceed to the next page without filling out the date.

Anyone have this problem?

Hi all

My question is about the e-ticket requirement for departure from the DR back to Canada.

I have the QR code but the departure date is wrong. I overstayed.

Should I amend the application and generate a new QR code, or just present the current one with the wrong departure date, or fill in a new application.

I am sure that others have overstayed and paid a fine, but not sure about what to do re. the application and QR code.

Thanks,  Robert

Hi Robert, i do travel very frequent and i know they look at departure date, my daughter who works for Delta confirmed this and said do not risk it, it will only cause trouble for you,  sort this out beforehand. good luck!

@EvelyneCH

Thanks. By asking, I am indeed trying to sort it out.

Hopefully, some knows the answer to my question.

just make a new one sometimes they dont even ask to see it on departure

I agree - just do a new one for the return and get a new QR code. Less headaches that way and, I believe that is what you're supposed to do anyway if you change your return date.

Just today I had one flight (of two) being cancelled at the last moment and luckily got everything rebooked for tomorrow. Although the departure flight and airline are the same for tomorrow I still made a new eticket because as an overstayer (too) I want the eticket correct when they check it. So there is no discussion about that.

Just do a new one. I’ve done it numerous times without a problem

@robertinvan

We overstayed last year by about an extra 30 days and had no problems at the airport using our old eTicket. We just had to pay the added fee for the extended stay past the 30 days.

I am having trouble completing my ETicket application to the Dominican Republic.  The website is not allowing me to put the "Day" for any of the dates that it asks, such as my birday or my travel day.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Use firefox

planner

Yes sometimes the browser makes a huge difference.  Many DR sites don't work well on Chrome. Also try Explorer.

@jrdiaz0705

We encountered the same problem. Switching languages back and forth solved the drop down date issue and we were able to move forward.
