Finding a place to live is a priority when settling in Belgrade. Your experience will be of a great help for the members who want to settle in Belgrade.
Therefore, we have prepared some questions for you:
Is it hard to find a flat or a house for rent in Belgrade?
How to find a home in Belgrade: classifieds, real estate portals, real estate agencies?
How much is the rental for a house, an apartment?
What are the formalities or the required documents for renting an accommodation?
Which advice would you give?
Thanks in advance for participating!
I know this is an ancient post, but I am now in Belgrade dealing with exactly this issue. You see, I'm waiting for my CZ work visa, and due to strict schengen laws now in effect I cannot stay in CZ more than 90 days in 180.
To answer your question about finding a flat in Beograd, some of my advice includes this:
1. Most Serbs speak some degree of English--certainly more than Czechs. This is to your advantage when hunting for a flat.
2. First stay in budget hostels for first week or two, or find a room ('sobe' in Serb). These can be as low as 10 or 15 Euros in Beograd. In these first two weeks, start asking around, and using apartment rentl websites as you would anywhere else. One such website I found quite useful is-
mojkvadrat.rs
Yes, its in Serbian. Deal with it! No just kidding....if you use Google Chrome it has a nifty feature: it will ask if you want the website translated into English. Amazing! It actually works. If you have an old PC or old Mac you cannot use this feature I think...you must have Intel Core Duo processor and later version of Chrome for it to work.
So, first stay at sobe, and start looking for longer term rental. In Beograd you will probably pay 300 Euros per month for a 50 square metre studio flat, furnished, give or take.Â
Good luck in your search for your new home in Beograd! :-)

I find it's filters very useful and practical.
Finding apartments in Belgrade, Serbia is easy to find, however finding a good apartment is not as easy. There are a lot of agencies and a lot of real estate websites that deal with the subject. I strongly recommend srbija-nekretnine.org/short-term-rentals for one reason - my friends from abroad booked through that website and they were extremely pleased with their apartments in Belgrade. Apartments are located in the center of Belgrade. They are fully furnished and well equipped.
Hope this helps someone.
I totally agree with you. Whenever I come to Belgrade I rent an apartment in Belgrade through srbija-nekretnine.org/short-term-rentals/belgrade-apartments. They have an amazing offer and specialize in apartments. Also, it's helpful that their apartments are wonderfully located.
As for finding a place in Belgrade, I strongly recommend you to check Belgrade Apartments - (srbija-nekretnine.org/short-term-rentals/). They offer a great service. They have amazing apartments on great locations for great prices and the team that's working there is always eager to help.
My recommendations are the official agency dealing with real estate. House or apartment? My answer is Apartments in Belgrade.
Agency:
beograd365.rs
beo-apartmani.com
Make sure to avoid agencies, for best practices and result you can check local website for real estate.
