looking for a lawyer to process our d7 visas for my wife and I. I’ve been in contact with the lawyer below, was wandering if anyone had used him and can recommend.

Can I point out to you that Advisors / Experts work here on a voluntry basis and work full time. If you don't get a reply straight away you have to be patient. Try helping yourself by looking at the forum first while waiting a response.
