Questions about healthcare and cost of living

Hi, everyone!!!

I just joined this group because we are considering of moving in Denmark next year.

We are a family of 3 (with 2 year old son) and we currently live and work in Luxembourg. My husband is danish but lived and worked most of his life in Luxembourg. Since the price of living in Luxembourg gets higher every year and the quality of life decreases we start considering to move in Denmark(perhaps Aarhus since is a city with IT opportunities but not as crowded as Copenhagen ). Both of us work in IT. I would like to ask some questions regarding the child care system and health system. We know that the rent are lower than in Luxembourg but the taxes In Denmark are higher and maybe the salaries there are lower? What is in general a good income to have a stable and fulfilled life in Denmark ? What are the general expenses that a family needs to think about?

Thank you very much
