Try to locate land in the DR

Greetings,

My dad purchased 2 pieces of land in Santo Domingo around 1974. We know nothing about it. Never been there before. We do have the original title of the property and I see that it鈥檚 located en La Caleta near the airport. I would like to know if there is way I can contact someone or search online to see if the property has not been taken by the government or something of that sort. Any advice is appreciated. TIA!
