Moving to Paris with my family

Post new topic

powercheryl

@Julien Hi I am a Canadian moving from the USA-Texas to Paris this summer with my family (Husband, Son (7), daughter (6 months)).  We are moving there for 3 years for my job.  I am looking for advice on family friendly areas to rent, how to look for rental properties (websites), schools, day cares for babies, commuting to La Defense...

We are a very nature loving family and I am not really interested in living in the heart of Paris, we much prefer some form of countryside....but not a killer commute :-)

Hello Powercheryl,

Welcome on board !

Please note that I have created a new thread from your post on the Paris forum so that members can guide you.

Till members guide you, I would suggest that you read the articles of the Living in Paris guide for expats to gather as much information as possible.

Have a look at the Housing in Paris section for deals. You may also create your own "looking for" ad in the same section to get some offers.

All the best
