Looking for a parent-inclusive playgroup

Hi,

We have a 23 month old toddler and I'm not yet comfortable enrolling him in a preschool as I feel he's too young, but would like to expose him to playtime with kids his age.

I'm looking for a playgroup that offers services after 4:00PM on week days or anytime in the weekend and that allows his mom or me to be involved.

We found one small business playgroup that offers such service but only to kids under 12 months old. No luck there.

If anyone could recommend anything I'd be grateful.

We live in Salwa so something near us would be a plus.

Parents with kids this age are welcome to suggest any other activities or services we could use to engage our kid's development. Thank you.

My wife and I both worked when we were in Kuwait and we had signed up our kid for nursery. It helped him out with being less dependent on us as well as interacting with other kids, not to mention they were teaching him arabic and english. The dependence part was good because going thru covid and the return to work afterward, whilst nurseries were still closed, he was easily going to stay with teachers who work from home. So it's good to help them out that early, I feel atleast. not dictating to you what you should do.

as far as I am aware, what you are asking about is not readily available in Kuwait; but you could check out sites like meetup and try to arrange playtime with other children. But it depends, do you want to be involved or are you leaving your child there?

I recommend getting annual pass at the scientific center and take him to discovery place where he can play solo or meet other kids and socialize.
