Dear fellow expats in Dubai,

I hope this message finds you all well. As a prospective expat, I am very interested in learning more about the cost of living in Dubai. Specifically, I am wondering how much a single person and a cat should budget (in USD) for a comfortable lifestyle, including accommodation (gas, water, and internet), transportation, healthcare, and nourishment.

I am a senior account executive from Brazil and have received a job offer from a PR and Public Affairs organization in Dubai. I want to ensure that I have a clear idea of the living expenses before I relocate. Additionally, I am expecting my mother to visit me for a month or so, and I would like to budget accordingly.
