I made a trip to Turkey from September 29, 2022 to December 24, 2022. So 85 days.

I am of French nationality and I have a French passport.

So if I understood correctly what the Turkish consulate explained to me. I have the right to 90 days in Turkish territory out of every 180 days. The consultat told me that I could travel to Turkey for a further 90 days from April because my 180-day period ended on March 29, 2022 (September 29, 2022 to March 29, 2023 = 180 days)

I would simply like to have the possibility of being reassured that I can travel well and truly to Turkey for 90 days again. Because I currently plan to go back to Turkey from May 6, 2023 for the celebration of my wedding in Turkey.

Please help me understand and above all reassure me.

Hello Cayeux,

We are required to post in english on this section of the forum.

I am translating your post but next posts should be written in english.

You stayed in Turkey from September 29, 2022 to December 24, 2022. You wish to return to Turkey from May 6, 2023, i.e. in May 2023 (26 days), June 2023 (30 days), July 2023 (31 days) = 87 days . So you can stay until the end of July 2023, you will not exceed the 180 days allowed.

For French speakers, please find the Turkey francophone forum here : Forum Turquie

Thanks in advance

@Cayeux

So this means that I can go back to Turkey from May 6, 2023 without any problem because the new 180-day period started on March 29, 2023?

Cayeux

No, the new period doesn't start on march 29 2023.

Cayeux

You must calculate at each moment if you don't stay more than 90 days in Turkey on a period of 180 days.

@Cayeux

The person on the telephone from the Turkish consulate told me that I could go back to Turkey from March 29, 2023 because a new period of 180 days has begun. he told me that the beginning of my previous period had started on September 29, 2022. (181 days passed between September 29, 2022 and March 29, 2023). I went to Turkey from September 29, 2022 to December 24, 2022 (86 days on Turkish territory)

French people are entitled to 90 days on Turkish territory out of each 180-day period.

So when does the new 180 day period begin?

Can I go in Turkiye on May 6, 2023 for a maximum of 90 days?

I'm sorry but I don't understand your explanation.

@FerruhDEDE

Instead of seeking for information here, I advise you to call directly Göç İdaresi, by 157 call center number.
