Work Visa In KSA & Bahrain

Hi Xtang,

Can we hold work visa from KSA & Bahrain at the same time.

I am currently working in Bahrain and I got an offer from KSA. I employer in KSA will be applying for me a work visa.

I dont want to cancel my work visa from Bahrain. So can I hold two work visas (i.e. one in Bahrain and one in KSA)

Well, I have held two or three at many times and never had any issue.

For example:

UAE, KSA and Bahrain

Bahrain and Saudi

Bahrain and UAE

The issue that happens in some cases is that some countries ask you to cancel the work visa of the other country before they stamp theirs.聽 And this is by no means consistent - depends on the visa officer at the Embassy.聽 I have seen it happen in UAE and Saudi visa issuance.

The second issue is that at times, especially on the causeway, they give you a bit of hassle as to why you have two work visas.

But generally speaking, if you have both visas already, you should be ok.
