Hotel gym / spa / pool membership in Panama City?

Hello! I am going to be in Panama City for most of July with my teenage son. He really wants to work out daily in a gym and I enjoy rooftop pools. Is there a hotel or apartment downtown or in Casco Antiguo that would sell us a weekly or month-long membership or one that does day passes? So far I have found Sortis, but it seems they may want either a 3-month commitment or $90/day for two of us. I am hoping to find something more reasonable that would make us both happy.
