Well lets suggest a meet up point for anyone and everyone interested in sharing a taxi. How about Al Wahda Mall? Its in the direction towards the Fairmont, so why don't we all meet up at Al Wahda at 6pm. We will wait until 6:15pm and then we'll move off.

Just thought I'd do a quick catch up with you all at the start of the week. Sorry I've been slightly dorment lately, I've had a lot going on, but will resume normal service this week.

I think its about time we had a big gathering, would be nice to see faces I haven't seen for a while, and I'm sure some of our newer members would also like to meet you.

I am setting up some football once a week. I am booking a pitch for Wednesday evening, and I would like to know who is interested in joining in. I can't speak for others, but I know I need to seriously get myself active again as I can see myself ballooning with all the junk I am eating lol.

Women are also welcome to join in if you want to. Karen specially asked me to set something up, and she's a woman, so well done to her.

Well I've booking 8pm on Wednesday, but at the moment if you are in then I only have 4 players so far, as no one else has responded to my text message. Need another 6 players.

Fashionsta and Butterfly welcome to our group. Sorry about this week guys, I know I've sent a text to you all about this evening, and I understand its at very short notice. I agree with Ahmed, it feels like its been ages, but rest assured that a lot has been happening, some new developments for our group as well, which I will disclose when I see you all. If not this evening, then definitely next week.

As for football, it never happened cos the pitch was available and I couldn't get enough numbers. Some of us are playing on the beach tomorrow. So if any of you ladies and gents are interested in getting  bit of sun, and sand all our of you, then join us at the beach for some football, and if we have enough numbers maybe even some volleyball

My apologies for the weekend, the text I sent out was way too late.

I am organising bowling for this weekend. We will get some dinner and then go have a few games of bowling. Last time we went was brilliant, everyone had a great time. I will send out a text with all the details.

So lets all meet up on Friday at 7pm at Cantina Laredo, which is in Khalidiyah Mall. Some of us went here last time and the food was great, and it was great value for money. And then from here we will travel to Marina Mall for bowling.

When I send texts out can you all please text to confirm your attendance or to let me know you cannot make it. I put a lot of time and effort into organising the weekend events, not to mention the cost of me sending the texts out to everyone, I only ask you all for one text.

I just know about fireworks on Dec 2nd. There's one around 7 pm at Zayed Sports City as part of the official ceremony and one around midnight at Corniche. Think I will check out the ceremony. If anyone wants to join, the tickets are for free. But you need to register online for it soon.

I hope you have all had a brilliant Christmas, and I wish you all a very Happy New Year. I hope you all have a prosperous, healthy and successful 2012.

I have spent the Christmas break back in my native UK, which is why you have probably no heard from me recently. I am due to fly back this evening, so lets organise a much needed reunion.

I want to organise something for next Friday, lets see how many can come out of their holes lol.

I will keep you posted, it will be nice to see you all again. It seems our Lebanese experience have deterred many from coming, but let me assure you that was a one off. Its a new year now, fresh start for everyone, including our meet-up group, so lets all meet up again.

I will send out the details once I am back in Abu Dhabi.

Dinner will be followed up with a movie.
