Ownership of property

I am Canadian married to a Canadian with Tunisian descent. We sre planning on retiring in Tunisia and will be purchasing a place in Tunisia. Would the ownership of the property be under both our names? And other assets such as a car or will be under my wife since she is a Tunisian descent?
