Paying French taxes

Post new topic

Trorn

Hi all

I have a property in France and have holiday lets via an agency.

I have to pay French taxes but I don't have a French bank account - I use Revolut and Starling, but I can't seem to pay my taxes online.

Does anyone know how to pay taxes fonciers for instance with the French online tax system

many thanks

You could go to your nearest Hotel des Impots or get the agency to do it for you. My brother whose official residence is New Zealand, has a property in Portugal.  He has a fiscal rep in Portugal who bills him for the taxes each year.  Not sure this helps ... but perhaps will encourage other expats to respond. BTW I pay my housing tax in France but I have bank accounts as I live in France.

Good luck !
