Hi,

I live in Poland, but planning to move to NZ in a year or so with family (2 kids, 7 and 12 yo).

Will i have to pay for school? What is the best place in NZ to live with kids?

I cannot afford private, international school.

thanks

Hi,

I live in Poland and thinking about moving with family (2+2) in 1,5-2 years to NZ.

It is possible but not for sure, that my employer will help me with transfer. Where to start? I cant afford private, international school for kids. Can they attend public? How good english skills should have kids to Enter school?

Who can help me with all those questions and many more that I have? :-)

thanks!

Hello and welcome !

I have created a new thread from your post on the New Zealand forum for better visibility.

In which region are you going to work ?

In regards to schooling, please read the following :

Primary and secondary education

Primary and secondary schools are the second level of education.

Your child's education is free between the ages of 5 and 19 at state schools (schools that are government owned and funded) if they're a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident.

Schooling is compulsory from age 6–16.
