Property ownership after a death

My partner died in January. We have a house & intravilan land in both our names which we bought in 2012. I am having trouble with the Notary. We were told when we purchased it that should one of us die the property would revert to the survivor. She is now saying that she isn't sure due to Brexit. He has an English will & apostile leaving his assets to me,聽 which she also says is invalid since Brexit. I have no idea if she is correct. Help please anyone who knows.
