Tips for Relocation Agencies

Post new topic

ChrisJohan

Hello!

We want to move from Europe to Mauritius and would like to get the support of a Relocation Agency (help with the Resident Permit, the purchase of the house, the creation of a Ltd, the export of our pet).

What has been your experience?

Do you recommend a specific agency? If yes, why.

If you have a bad experience, that could be interesting also 😉

Thanks a lot!

I would recommend the Expat department at THE TEMPLE GROUP, they're a law firm but handle matters of residency permits, citizenship applications etc.... & their commercial department can assist with the creation of a company.

My personal experience with them was excellent, they're very efficient & on the ball.

below are 4 very good service providers to consider - they each have a slightly different approach:

1. Shane & Julia Rolfe of Rolfe International are a family-orientated service and act as the project managers to co-ordinate a host of other service providers to ensure that whichever of the following you need specifically, gets done (from pet relocation, initial travel & accommodation, health & other insurance, EBD documentation, bank accounts, property purchase or rental, container shipping of household contents, to vehicle import).

           Watch their youtube videos here:

2. Candice Thompson (BTG Consultants)

they can do most of the list above or know who can do it for you

3. Brent Wealth are the guys to speak to if you are coming in as an Investor, Salaried Employee, Self-Employed or even Retiree - they are the best to sort out your forex, capital investments (Mauritius, Guernsey and other offshore), structure youTax matters, and the are affiliated with Brent Consulta who can set up a Mauritian company for you, or if you want to purchase your Mauritian property through a Trust.    Contact Yolande Butchart [link moderated]
