Post new topic

woodcook

does anyone here has an experience with the Leuven commune in terms of nationality application/waiting time?

Cheryl

Hello woodcook,

Please note I have created a new thread with your post on the Leuven forum.

This should enhance your chances of connecting with someone who may have experience in this area.1f609.svg

@Cheryl Thanks I hope others will comment and give their experience

Commune does not matter alot at nationality is matter of the federal  goverment. Commune will just forward the declaration and paperwork. By deafult now it is 6 months time to get a official response.

woodcook

@Edigj The document that was given to my girl friend says that she will get a response within 4 months. Please do you have any link to the 6 month duration ?

Edigj

I do not have an official link. But when I did my natioanlity 2 years ago my commune told me they had received clear indications that the new timeline would be 6 months as they had more and more applications but not enough case workers to respect the 4 months deadline.
