Post new topic

Armand

Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in the Massachussets ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in the Massachussets?

Thanks in advance for participating!

How much is a fare? not too expensive compared to france for eg, for a month pass for eg ( both bus and subway) you have for around 60 dollars. ( for a week 15)

Are they relatively safe? yep

For all of USA: If you don't live near a large city or train stop - you need a car...buses are not much used. Taxis are too expensive for daily use except in large Cities.

BOSTON MAMA

Agreed.

If you live in the City of Boston and any of the surrounding cities like Somerville or Cambridge you will not need a car, anywhere outside of a train stop you will need a car.

The subways are great. Safe, affordable and usually on time. However, there just started a 2 year project on Government Center (or State Streets) and they will be using busses from East Boston to these stops.

The big draw back is the night clubs close at 2 and the train stops at 1:30
