Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Canberra ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Canberra?

Thanks in advance for participating!

In Canberra there is only the bus, as there are no trains.  The current cash fare is $4, but it is less if you purchase a transit card called the MyWay Card and top it up with a cash balance.

I don't ride the bus very often anymore, so when I do, I just pay cash.  You can ask the driver for a 'transfer' when you pay cash, and with the transfer, you can get on and off buses for the next 90 minutes for free.  Just show the driver of the next bus your transfer receipt, and you can get on as long as the transfer has not expired.

I hope this helps.
