Public transportation in Shenzhen

Post new topic

Armand

Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Shenzhen ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Shenzhen?

Thanks in advance for participating!

The subway is safe and clean - often crowded - and super cheap. They run frequently but not after 11 p.m.  You can get the schedule on their website - google MTR Shenzhen.  Another plus, everything is posted in both Chinese and English.  Buses are more crowded and again very inexpensive.  Bus schedules are more difficult to find.  Taxis cost more but can of course get you door to door. Can be a bit scary as they often drive like maniacs.  All in all not difficult to get about

yes,the public transport is very developed in shenzhen. Subway is the first selected if you go out? Second is bus, anywhere you go you can take it,but you must be familiar with the place of shenzhen(of course the chinese character must to be understand).aha, that's must diffcult for foreigner i think.
Taxi is very conveniency ,but expensive.
