Public transportation in Bangalore

Post new topic

Armand

Hi all,

What do you think about the means of transportation in Bangalore ?

Is the network of means of transportation well developed?
What modes of transport are available?

Do you use them?

How much is a fare?

Are they relatively safe?

What is the mean of transportation you use the most in Bangalore?

Thanks in advance for participating!

The cheapest means of transport in bangalore is three wheeler       " auto " which is present every where. It will cost about Rs 60 for 4 km ride. And other option is to call MERU cabs on 080-44224422 and their servive is quite good . It will cost approx Rs 200 for 5 km ride

Transportation is Bangalore is expensive compare to the Mumbai and New Delhi. In Bangalore there is no local trains only the bus is main mode of transportation. Auto rickshaws is not going well. Metro is just launch so it cover only 6 km run. Most of the new people preferred to calling taxi Bangalore because there are several radio taxis providers in Bangalore they offer 24x7 facility.
