I am an architect living in Honolulu, and was just introduced to a Tahitian resident looking to build on their land, and may be hiring me to work on the design.  I am only familiar with the building code and permitting requirements here, and wanted to do a bit pf research to find out about the permitting process there before just asking my new potential client about it.  Any assistance you or others could give would be most helpful.
